Commissioned portrait sculpture by Edd Hayes The Champ, Casey Tibbs Monumental: 27 ft tall edition. 1 of 1 Installed in August 1989, in front of The Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame and Museum of the American Cowboy. Action portrait of rodeo legend Casey Tibbs on the famous saddle bronc, Necktie. At the dedication ceremonies, Casey's first words were "Thank you Edd Hayes for making me look good, hell, I was good!" Casey died of cancer a few months later. Before the bronze was finished, inside Casey's chest, Hayes installed a bronze heart inscribed with the words, "Ride Cowboy Ride"!
